Meet our board

Meet our Board of Directors

We are rabbis and sheikhs, entrepreneurs and lawyers, dentists and digital strategists. We come from different faiths, different backgrounds, different parts of the world. What we share is a refusal to accept permanent conflict as the only option. Our board brings together people who’ve actually built things—businesses, communities, interfaith organizations, and trust across divides.

M. David Kamrat

Founder
Chief Executive Officer

David, first name Moshe, was born in Jaffa, Israel. Both of his parents are Holocaust survivors who migrated to Israel as refugees in 1948. In 1957, David’s family moved to Brooklyn, New York.

David has been a house painter, a business leader, a father, and even a grandfather. He has been committed to interfaith his entire life, inspired by his father’s strong belief that peace and forgiveness were possible, even with his enemies.

David co-founded JAM & All Interfaith after 9/11 to support his Muslim brothers and sisters. He remains a member of the board to this day and continues to advocate for people of all faiths.
