Despite many efforts in pursuit of peace, the rift between Israelis and Palestinians continues to deepen. Medina Salam (Mesa) offers a chance for these wounds to begin healing. It is a bold experiment: a new city on undisputed land where people choose co-existence over conflict. Mesa is a grass-roots, voluntary, and self-governed project that is open to all.

Medina Salam, Arabic for “City of Peace,” is a proposed model city in Israel-Palestine where Israelis, Palestinians, and people of all backgrounds and beliefs can build a shared future.​
